​After a career-defining moment as a young dancer performing in Berlioz’s opera Les Troyens at La Scala, twenty-five years later Connaughton returns as a chore to the work and to the earth-shattering themes of war, primacy of fate, the suffering of wanderers, and the glory of State in collaboration with sound designer/electronica composer Nigel Truswell, lighting designer Begoña Garcia, costume designer Emily Ní Bhroin, video designer Luca Trufarelli and a cast of exceptional Irish and international dancers.
